Floral Imprint: A Custom Dye Experience

Central to any momentous occasion, floral decor takes place front and center of any major event and important gathering. However, once the event is over, many of those flowers are discarded. The Process

Step 1

Elements Gathered: Marigold arrangement is sourced, along with local wildflowers and wild greens, with single silk handkerchief (pre-dyed).

Step 2

Floral petals picked and arranged, then wrapped in silk handkerchief and dyed.

Step 3

Newly dyed fabrics dry in the sun, and newly transferred floral elements are baked in using natural light.

The Product

With the marigold and wild flower elements transferred to the silk scarf, the newly dyed silk scarf takes on a new life. With this process, the memories and emotions of a single day are now carried on to a functional object which will enrich and inspire your life for years to come.
